In addition to his work in the electronics field, Michael also has experience in a wide range of other disparate fields, including mechanical engineering, software engineering, data encryption, broadcasting and telecommunications. He has a particular interest in the prosecution of patents in the electronic, telecommunications and software fields.
Michael is currently a member of the Patent Law Committee of the Association of Patent and Trademark Attorneys. He has lectured on IP matters in University College Dublin, Waterford Institute of Technology and at the Institute of Technology in Tallaght, and is currently in his third year as a Ceipi tutor.
